On June 2019, I go to the Morvan Natural Park, for a 2-week hike between the South Park and Avallon to the north.
I am on the GR 13 all along, it goes through the center of the Park. It's gone for a beautiful forest trip!
I start with a night in a bivouac on Mont-Beuvray, 821 m. At the top we can see remains still well preserved and highlighted of the Bibracte Gallic oppidum, capital of the Eduens. The place seen from the sky:

For a good hundred kilometers I am in the forests, alternating hardwoods and conifers, villages are rare and businesses even more.
