27 March 2019 :

Hi everybody,

I arrived in Btittany in  the beginning of March. I start my trip in St-Malo on a friends place ( Fanfan et Claude, I met them on a other trek in South France )

With a visit to the medieval town of Dinan :

Before handing my backpack, for the last step, loaded this time with good sausage and french cheese. I missed it in NZ.

I go hitchhiking and start with the Broceliande forest :

The millenium Guillotin oak :

I continue by Locmariaquer, in the Morbihan gulf and the broken menhir of 88 feet high, originally.

And Carnac with its wonderful megalithic alignments, 2 934 menhirs  :

On the beach I met Jacqueline and Christophe who were drawing one big mandala.

I joined them :

Housed for the night by Jacqueline, I take the road the next day for the Armor coast. The stop is fruitfull, I start with a young Turkish guy, a Corsican scenographer, two truck drivers. For 5 minutes, a couple, two old Breton very typical. And finally a pensioner and two 18 year olds. All this for a little less than 125 miles.

The next day it is under a storm that I attack the trek "le chemin des douaniers" from Trebeurden to Perros-Guirec. Not really top, I'm quickly wet, eaten on the construction site of a campsite with the worker who works next. Here the people are friendly, I will see all the time of my trip.

The weather is clear and sunny for my visit of the pink granite coast :
