Hello everyone, We are in June 2017, the sun and blue sky is here The site has taken a different pace with the ability to consult it now with tablets and laptops.

Having free time in front of me, I went to meet the nature and the silence, for 13 days and 160 kms, in bivouac and alone.

Starting from my home in the Cevennes, I start with 900 meters of elevation gain, direction Mont-Lozere:

Here a panorama on Mont-Lozère from the Signal du Ventalon.

In the area, I meet the transhumance :

My steps take me to several parts of the Cévennes National Park, and I cross several valleys to reach Mont-Aigoual. The nights in tents allow me to witness splendid sunsets and sunrises:

I take a short break for my birthday at the edge of this magical lake:

The drought does not stop me and continue now towards the South, the forests give way to causses limestones:

I arrive at Cirque de Navacelles, an interesting geological site. Here the path goes down and goes up on the side of the cornice ... I make some rare encounters, which are all singular and interesting, like that of a Breton couple who will finish his travel at the same time as me

More far, the causses are more green

Finally here I am at the final destination: St-Guilhem-Le-Desert in Herault. A small medieval village and tourist that is a stage of St James way

And that's the end! At the foot of the centenary plane tree of the place of freedom, back to the entrance of the formidable abbey of Gellone. To extend the pleasure here are some varieties of fauna and flora that I have admired with joy:
